Biography
Born in Kambovein the province of Haut-Katanga in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Jean Pierre THUMBA is the son of Martin Hubert Thumba andAgnès Kabila Sykiala. Married with six children, Jean Pierre embodies the values of rigour and high standards instilled by his family, placing the quest for excellence and the desire to constantly progress at the heart of his career.

Jean Pierre holds a State Diploma in Electricity and a Degree in Computer Science of theProtestant University of Lubumbashi. Initially registered with the Faculty of Law from the University of Lubumbashi, he then continued his studies at the Faculty of Computer Science from the same university, thus reinforcing his technological expertise. Despite an interruption in his studies due to financial difficulties caused by the eruption of Nyiragongo, which destroyed the family property and wiped out the financial investment in his parents' 'La Colombe' school complex, Jean Pierre was able to bounce back and steer his career towards rewarding professional opportunities.
